75% revenue uplift for multi-channel marketing customers

~ Acxiom takes on digital marketing integration at DM show ~

Businesses can increase revenues by up to 75 per cent using integrated email marketing programmes, according to Acxiom Digital’s Louis Fernandes, who will be speaking in the IDM Academy at Internet World (co-located with the International Direct Marketing Fair) on Thursday.

Fernandes, senior account director at Acxiom Digital, will be discussing results customers have achieved through multi-channel marketing campaigns. The customers he’ll be referencing include BAA, Comcast, Hewlett Packard, Marriott, Odeon and Sprint.

“Email is a vital marketing channel, but it will only work effectively if it’s properly integrated, both with other digital channels as well as the offline world” said Fernandes. “Using targeted multi-channel campaigns, our customers are reporting significant revenue increases.”

“As we face an economic downturn, smarter, integrated marketing will become more important than ever,” Fernandes continued. “During this challenging business climate, when it comes to marketing, businesses must look at ‘lifetime’ value and retention of a customer – and not solely a focus on short-term, revenue which may ultimately prove to be unprofitable.”
