Acxiom launches first ‘qualified leads as a service’ offering to end wasted efforts on 50% of leads

Acxiom UK has launched Acxiom InfoBase-X Intelligent Leads, a new qualified leads ‘as a service’ offering that brings its consumer intelligence to online lead generation. It is designed to help marketers identify top performing leads in real time and manage sophisticated online acquisition campaigns, improving marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
InfoBase-X Intelligent Leads will solve this problem in real time by using its customer information database to recognise each lead, then applying its PersonicX segmentation system to discriminate between leads and identify which should be targeted for the campaign. Finally, data is hygiene tested to counter lead fraud and prepare the best leads for clients’ sales funnels. The entire process is conducted online, instantly.

According to Nick Martin, managing director at Acxiom UK, half the leads generated online for any campaign are of poor quality: “A large proportion of online prospects fall outside of the correct target market, and are therefore destined to clog up the sales funnel and increase call centre costs unnecessarily,” he commented.

“However, the other 50 per cent represent great new business potential. The challenge for marketers is to identify which half is valuable for their campaign. In market, well-qualified leads are urgently needed to help organisations improve their acquisition marketing performance.”

InfoBase-X Intelligent Leads will improve clients’ hit rates significantly, according to Martin. “The goal is to enable marketers to make the most of their investment in online by helping them identify relevant leads, and ultimately to win more new business.”
