Acxiom has recently appointed five senior UK executives to drive innovation around customer service, products and consultancy.

Senior appointments include Keith Jones, who will be group leader of multi-industry solutions and services. He joins from Abacus, the consumer data cooperative, and has over 20 years of expertise in business analytics and marketing. At Acxiom, he will define strategy across several verticals, including digital, telcos and retail, to drive business growth.

Many of the executives have been selected for their industry-specific expertise within target verticals, including banking, telecoms, retail and insurance.

Ged Ganley will join the financial services team as industry consultant from GE Capital. His understanding of the industry will help shape the company’s strategy. With 20 years’ experience of marketing within retail banking, loans and insurance companies, his in-depth comprehension of customer pain-points will help to innovate across the industry with solutions and consultancy.

Luke Burgin has joined Acxiom to help drive the telecoms, high-tech and utilities verticals as industry consultant, after working at BT for 17 years. Luke held senior marketing positions at the telecoms giant, where his responsibilities revolved around improving customer engagement. This included driving product innovation, managing communications and leading customer events. At Acxiom, Luke will be responsible for developing strategies and services to improve and grow existing relationships with customers.

Brian Burchfield comes to Acxiom from Information Resources, Inc. to lead the UK divisions of retail and FMCG, as well as travel and leisure. He has 27 years of experience in the retail and FMCG sectors, including marketing enterprise-wide solutions to the industry as well as account managing several branches of retail stores in America. Brian and his team have developed complete solutions and is providing consultancy to UK retailers to help them increase customer retention and acquisition as well as helping to drive higher share of wallet.

“The marketing needs of customers across different industries vary widely, and Acxiom has always pushed to ensure that we don’t just provide a one-size-fits-all solution to our customers,” said David Allen, CEO of Acxiom Europe Services. “These appointments will ensure that we continue along this path, by understanding our customers and ensuring we meet each of their very specific needs.”

Finally, Ron Foynes has joined Acxiom from The Automobile Association to provide further support for its security and privacy measures. His responsibility will be to minimise the risk of breaches of data privacy, and ensure information security, business continuity and disaster recovery across Acxiom Europe.
