Amino sends a Christmas message to local Q103 Kids charity

Cambridge-based technology provider to make donation to Q103 Kids

Cambridge, UK - December 18, 2007

Amino, the world leading IPTV platform supplier, is to donate £400 to Cambridge-based Q103 Kids charity which assists
community projects and people by offering support, expertise and influence. This will be the second year running that Amino has cooperated with a charitable organisation at Christmas.

The company is giving the donation instead of sending traditional Christmas cards. Q103 Kids is a registered charity run by the Q103 local radio station. Founded over ten years ago, the charity has raised and awarded £250,000 to a range of community projects. The money raised from contributions like Amino’s is distributed directly back to the Cambridge, Ely and Huntington area.

Roy Kirsopp, VP & General Manager at Amino says Q103 Kids was the perfect choice for this year’s donation. “Q103 Kids is making a continuous difference to lives of local people. The fact that the charity money stays in the local area is important. Despite being a worldwide company, our roots are based in Cambridge.”

The radio station’s Black Thunder Crew arrived, with a large blank cheque, at Amino’s offices to collect the donation from Roy Kirsopp on Friday, December 14.

Charity Manager, Hayley Scrivener says, “This year, we are aiming higher, and our goal is to raise even more money to help many local groups working with young people enjoy the new opportunities opened up to them by the charity. We are only able to do it with companies like Amino, so thank you.”
