Cartel to help Leicester scale debt mountain

~ Cartel Client Review sets up high street presence to help residents bring financial claims against banks ~

September 02, 2009

Manchester-based financial claims firm Cartel Client Review has chosen Leicester as the site of its next Client Review Centre.

While many other businesses are struggling on the high street, Cartel sees the economic downturn as the perfect opportunity to offer consumers claims management advice on UK high streets.

Leicestershire's debt mountain reached £60million last year [1], its highest ever level, and Cartel is able to advise all residents on whether they can bring a claim against a lender, including those concerned about their personal finances. Cartel is keen for people to drop in to the Client Review Centre on Melton Road for a free consultation about their personal finances.

The firm has invested over £3million in legal research and development to help consumers bring claims against lenders for a variety of products, such as payment protection insurance (PPI) and bank charges, as well as home repossessions and credit card agreements.

Executive quote

This Client Review Centre is the first of many planned in the region, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming the Leicester public into our centre.”

Carl Wright, managing director for Cartel, said: “In these difficult economic times, Cartel’s ability to help consumers seek redress in relation to unenforceable credit agreements is having a positive impact on consumer’s personal finances.
