IDS Scheer increases quarterly revenue to €102 million

~ organic growth results in 8 per cent rise compared to Q1 2008 ~

IDS Scheer AG, the leading global provider of business process management (BPM) solutions has announced a worldwide group profit of €7.7 million in quarter two 2008, almost double that of the previous quarter.

This reflects a very successful period for the company amid a global downturn with forecast revenue for the fiscal year 2008 expected to hit €400 million.

With its UK headquarters located in Birmingham, the British arm of the company has mirrored global success with new business growth in the financial, packaged goods, utilities, and service sectors. Nationwide, over 20 new businesses have implemented the ARIS software platform from IDS Scheer over the last six months, allowing them to improve business process, increase performance and reduce operating costs.

The company has also increased its UK workforce by 21 per cent. IDS Scheer sees the appointment of qualified employees as an investment in the future and a reflection of the organisation’s commitment to continued growth, which is expected to be strong across the next quarter.
