IGA Worldwide launches dynamic in-game advertising in Trackmania Nations Forever

Nadeo and IGA extend existing exclusive deal to offer advertisers dynamic in-game advertising into the official Trackmania Nations sequel

October 25, 2007

IGA Worldwide, the leading independent in-game advertising company, announced today a new exclusive three-year agreement with Nadeo to place dynamic ads into the top PC online racing game, Trackmania Nations Forever.

The agreement marks the second time IGA and Nadeo have partnered on the insertion of dynamic ads into the Trackmania series. The original Trackmania Nations was one of the official games for the E-Sports World Cup (www.ESWC.com) in 2006 and 2007 and has been downloaded more than seven million times worldwide, making it one of the most played online racing games in the world. In the existing version of the game, IGA has already worked in multiple territories with a wide range of leading brands including Intel, 20th Century Fox, Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, and Wendy’s to dynamically incorporate their advertisements into the game via IGA’s proprietary Radial technology.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Nadeo again after the astonishing success with Trackmania Nations,” said Justin Townsend, CEO of IGA Worldwide. “Advertisers, game developers, publishers and consumers are seeing the measurable benefits of serving dynamic advertising into premium games, and Trackmania has proven that the free-to-play model can deliver incredible results.”

Due for launch in 1Q 2008, Trackmania Nations Forever will once again feature as an official ESWC 2008 game, and includes a detailed track editor which allows players to create their own tracks and car skins, as well as supporting multiple online high score and tournament formats. With the help of IGA, Nadeo and the Trackmania series have helped pioneer the free-to-play, ad-supported model for high-end videogames. The game will be free to download and play by anybody with a PC and online connection.

“After the success we had in the first TrackMania Nations, it was a clear decision to partner with IGA for Trackmania Nations Forever,” said Florent Castelnerac, director at Nadeo. “We are looking to deliver the best and most beautiful game we can. Thanks to dynamic in-game advertising, we have the chance to make it free and instantly gather a maximum number of players across the world, from all nations, with a spirit of fun and sport.”
