Kofax provides large U.S. based BPO provider with distributed capture solution to support transportation clients

Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of Intelligent Capture & Exchange solutions, today announced it will provide a leading U.S.-based business process outsourcing (BPO) provider for the transportation, manufacturing and distribution industries with a distributed capture solution. The value of the contract to Kofax is more than $250,000.

The organisation will use Kofax software to capture and extract data from delivery receipts and bills of lading received from more than 200 remote sites throughout the U.S. and then export that data into its centralised ERP system to service the needs of its trucking company customers. The solution will enable the BPO firm to decrease operating costs, increase productivity, reduce “time to revenue” and improve profitability for customers by capturing data at the point-of-delivery in real-time. It will also ensure that extracted data is accurate, leading to faster processing times, greater cost savings and better compliance with data security regulations in service-level agreements.
