September 24, 2009

LEWIS PR has just announced its financial results to the year July 2009. Revenue grew 11% worldwide and the agency continued to expand its international office network, with the launch of LEWIS Tokyo and Lisbon.

The agency has also announced the promotion of Financial Controller James Oehlcke to Group Finance Director. Oehlcke trained at Arthur Andersen and joined Channel Four on qualification. He joined LEWIS from The Economist, where he held senior roles in the flagship publication and at Group level.

In addition, Oehlcke will be supported by the appointment of Greg Tulett as Strategic Finance Director. Deloitte-trained, Tulett has five years' experience in operational finance within the LEWIS Group of companies. His new role will focus on acquisitions and strategic projects.

“The company has 23 legal entities and operates in 38 offices throughout the world,” said Oehlcke. “This is a challenging accounting task especially in a growing business. My mandate is to look for strategic acquisitions and I couldn’t wish for a more experienced or talented player than Greg Tulett to work with.”
