Lexmark appoints ex-Microsoft director to drive ‘print less, save more’ message

New UK & Ireland large accounts sales director cites printer vendor’s solution-focused culture as key reason for move

Lexmark has today announced the appointment of Chris Baker as UK & Ireland large accounts sales director.

Baker joins from Microsoft where he worked for five years, three of which he spent as UK director of financial services. He brings with him a wealth of experience that he will draw upon to drive sales and ensure Lexmark remains a leader in the print market.

One of the reasons Baker joined Lexmark was the company’s emphasis on providing a solution, rather just a technology.

“What attracted me to the company was the potential to deliver tangible business benefits to customers by showing them how to reduce costs, print securely, shrink their carbon footprint, and boost productivity by improving workers’ integration with back office processes. By doing this rapidly Lexmark can help customers like DSGi reap the benefits immediately.” said Baker.
