NorthgateArinso awarded BSI continuity standard

ensures business carries on if the unexpected happens

April 06, 2010

NorthgateArinso, leading HR and Payroll service provider has achieved BS25999 standard. This auditable standard was awarded by BSI Management Systems for NorthgateArinso’s ability to ensure unexpected events will have a minimum business impact, for example, environmental incidents, sickness (pandemic) and terrorist activity.

The standard means customers can be assured that, regardless of any disruption that may occur, their services will continue to be delivered. This represents the high quality and reliability of NorthgateArinso as a Payroll and HR provider.

Gaining certification has been a two-year process, and the company has demonstrated a commitment to understand its business risks and become resilient in any eventuality. Currently six NorthgateArinso locations are certified. The organisation plans to continue rolling this out further in the UK and globally.

Executive quote

“More customers are asking for evidence of business continuity credentials and at NorthgateArinso we are committed to satisfying our customers’ needs,” said Graeme Deane, global quality manager at NorthgateArinso. “We have invested in technology and infrastructure to ensure service delivery continues through any disruption. We have also ensured our people understand their roles, for example through scenario and rehearsal exercises, so that they can respond to emergencies in an organised and planned manner.”
