RFU tackles ITIL with Sostenuto

The Rugby Football Union has selected Sostenuto from Sunrise to support its ITIL drive.

The IT department at RFU had outgrown their previous solution and needed a web based service management system that could be configured to meet ongoing requirements and ITIL compliance. Sostenuto was selected to meet those needs.

Led by Network Manager Mike Morris, the IT team is responsible for infrastructure and support across the entire RFU estate and are kept extremely busy. Morris is therefore looking forward to the benefits that Sostenuto will bring:

“Sostenuto will help us on several levels; we will manage third parties more effectively, the timed-release process allows my team to work within the constraints of the RFU’s SLA in a more efficient way, and we will be able to create multiple categories and sub categories in the incident creation process”.

Morris also pointed to the availability of contract management and Sostenuto’s ‘ability to integrate with the RFU intranet for self service’ as key benefits of Sostenuto and big areas for the RFU moving forward.
