During summer, PCs tend to overheat, resulting in higher energy consumption. 1.    Switch off your computer when you don’t use it. This simple step is an excellent way to conserve electricity and reduces the heat absorption.

3.    When attaching your CPU cooler, make sure to use the right amount of thermal grease or thermal compound and spread it evenly. This is crucial as the CPU consumes a high amount of energy when it gets too hot.

6.    Regularly clean your case and change the air filters on your intake fans to reduce dust buildup. A coating of dust can insulate your electronic parts, restrict airflow and impede cooling fans.
7.    Avoid cable clutter to ensure optimal air flow. Tie them together with zip-ties and route them through the cable management system in your case if available.
8.    Use a localized cooling system to keep individual parts chilled if they are not positioned in the regular cool route.
9.    Consider a water cooling system for your processor. This can also cut down on the noise that would be generated by a standard CPU cooler fan.
10.    Notebooks include smaller fans and vents, so a proper cooling system is even more important. A professional notebook cooler can provide huge cooling benefits.
