CODA Releases ‘Opportunity to Cash’ Module of CODA 2go, Launches Free Trial

Beta customers CyberSafe, Model Metrics, SaaSpoint and Xenogenix complete trial of CODA SaaS accounting software on Force.com

MANCHESTER, NH - December 02, 2008

CODA Group (www.coda.com), the finance software specialist, today announced that it has completed beta testing of the Opportunity to Cash module of its CODA 2go SaaS accounting software package. Opportunity to Cash is now available for general use. Today CODA also announced a 30-day online trial of CODA 2go available at http://www.coda2go.com/freetrial

CODA 2go is the first international SaaS accounting system developed on salesforce.com’s Force.com platform. It is integrated with Salesforce CRM applications and runs on salesforce.com’s trusted global service infrastructure.

CODA 2go’s Opportunity to Cash module enables users with “opportunities” in Salesforce CRM to create an invoice at the click of a button and post the transaction to their sales ledger. This helps companies manage their business processes by giving authorized users an easy way to track opportunities from the initial sales inquiry to the close of a deal to the collection of cash, all within one integrated product.

Since launching CODA 2go in May at Dreamforce Europe, CODA has continued developing and beta testing the software. Several companies from the US and the UK have implemented and tested the Opportunity to Cash module, including salesforce.com customers CyberSafe, Model Metrics, SaaSpoint and Xenogenix.

The CODA 2go service is available via salesforce.com’s Force.com AppExchange, a Web marketplace for SaaS applications. CODA provides complete helpdesk support for all trial users, who can request assistance directly from the application. The trial comes with a pre-populated set of data and comprehensive, award-winning online assistance and documentation so that customers can familiarize themselves with the capabilities of CODA 2go and quickly get up and running. CODA also provides templates and detailed guidance to support a smooth implementation when customers are ready to move CODA 2go into their production environment.

Customer quote

“We have been impressed with the CODA 2go service and plan to extend our use of the different functions available over the coming months,” said Tim Alsop, technical director at CyberSafe. “With direct communication with the CODA 2go development team, we believe being part of the early-adoption program has put us at a significant advantage. Integration between CODA 2go and Salesforce CRM is seamless, and the look and feel is the same, so users feel they are working within one system. It delivers accounting functionality that we have been crying out for and closes a loop between sales and finance. CODA’s pedigree in developing finance systems is very apparent.”

Pricing and availability

CODA 2go is available via a monthly subscription model. Initial pricing for a full subscription begins at $125 per user per month with other pricing options available for alternative feature packs. For the first six months, customers who sign up for CODA 2go will receive a free upgrade when the next release becomes available, including full general-ledger and accounts-payable functionality.

A new dedicated CODA 2go Web site is also available at http://www.coda2go.com
