Centigon Solutions Inc. Unveils Google Maps™ Add-On for Use with Xcelsius® 2008
Innovative component provides dashboard developers with Google Maps API Premier integration
Centigon Solutions Inc., an SAP® software solution partner in the SAP PartnerEdge™ program and leading developer of add-ons for Xcelsius® software, today launched GMaps Plugin for use with Xcelsius 2008, allowing developers to easily integrate Google Maps into business intelligence dashboards with point-and-click simplicity. Bridging the gap between best-of-breed mapping and enterprise dashboard solutions, GMaps Plugin empowers designers to drag and drop a Google Map™ directly into a dashboard to enable interactive analysis of geographical data.
Centigon Solutions leverages the powerful Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API) for Flash to create integration with Xcelsius APIs, allowing dashboard designers to fulfill a wide range of mapping requirements for business intelligence dashboards. These features include alerting, basic geographic analytics, geo-coding and over 10 interactive marker styles to choose from.
Following a successful public beta in Q4 2008 with over 250 users, Centigon Solutions carefully evaluated enhancement requests to ensure that the market demands could be met with out-of-the-box functionality. The result is an add-on component that employs the familiar user experience of Google Maps, with interactive data visualization features that empower business users to assimilate regional data and make better-informed business decisions.
