Applications for the IBM BladeCenter PN41 blade provide security and services management

CloudShield’s DNS Defender application will run on IBM’s BladeCenter PN41 blade. The software provides protection against DNS attacks and can reduce the number of DNS servers while improving the overall performance of the network. By eliminating the need for firewalls, load balancers and additional servers, DNS Defender provides carriers with a significant CAPEX and OPEX cost savings.
CloudShield’s SSM is an enhanced solution for properly managing network traffic. Service provider networks need to have the ability to deliver latency sensitive applications such as VoIP and IPTV, without interruption. SSM gives carriers a better understanding of network traffic congestion, helping to deliver higher standards of customer satisfaction.
