CloudShield Technologies Appoints Vice President of Engineering
Product development veteran hired to lead technology innovation
CloudShield Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of service management and infrastructure security solutions, today announced it has selected Kenneth McKeithan as vice president of engineering. Kenneth will be responsible for all hardware, software and application development for CloudShield and will report directly to president and CEO Matt Jones.
CloudShield is a private company that sells to the world’s largest network service providers and national governments through its partners, including: Alcatel Lucent, IBM, L-3 Communications and Northrop Grumman. CloudShield’s unique high speed network platform provides unmatched capabilities in the areas of network security, cross domain solutions, content management and network policy enforcement functions.
Kenneth is a senior-level executive with over 25 years’ experience in software architecture and product development. Prior to joining CloudShield, he was the vice president of software engineering at Atheros Communications, a leading wireless solutions provider to OEM, ODM and several major enterprises. While senior vice president of engineering at startup Allocity, Kenneth led a team that provided storage and storage management for Microsoft Exchange products to a number of enterprise and small business customers. When Allocity was acquired by EMC Corporation in 2004, Kenneth became its chief technology director overseeing SOHO solutions. He has also held senior management positions at VERITAS Software and Amdahl Corporation.
