DriveSentry, a software-based firewall for hard drives and USB flash drives, and Pexagon Technology, a manufacturer and distributor of custom USB storage products, today announced that DriveSentry GoAnywhere will ship preloaded on Store-It USB Flash and Portable Hard Drives.

GoAnywhere monitors and protects Store-It drives against viruses and malware attempting to attack files saved on those devices. DriveSentry's server has hundreds of thousands of 'whitelisted' and 'blacklisted' applications in its database. Good applications will be automatically allowed to access drives and known threats will instantly be denied.

GoAnywhere includes access to DriveSentry's Advisor, a community-based knowledge center that users populate with the latest threat information. This community adds to the effectiveness of the DriveSentry software.
