Esker Outlines the Course for Faster Order-to-Cash Cycles at SAP Tech Ed ‘07

Leader in business document automation demonstrates how organizations can leverage their investment with SAP using next-generation document delivery solutions

Madison, WI - October 02, 2007

Esker, Inc., the leader in document process automation solutions, today announced its participation at SAP’s premier educational event, SAP TechEd ’07, taking place this week at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. At booth #27, Esker will demonstrate its SAP-certified solutions that enable organizations to “Quit Paper” by automating the flow of documents into and out of existing SAP applications, thus eliminating manual processes.

In addition to exhibiting at the conference, Esker will present on “The Ins and Outs of Document Process Automation” on Wednesday, October 3rd at 2:45pm, in the Lagoon A, on Level 2 of the convention center. The session will take an in-depth look at solutions that automate business information into and out of SAP applications and streamline the order-to-cash cycle. Steve Smith, Vice President, Sales, for Esker, will share how SAP customers have utilized technologies to capture and transform data into EDI or IDOC files, and automate documents via fax or postal mail directly from SAP applications. Attendees will also receive case-study examples of lessons learned, and outcomes realized by SAP customers.

As an SAP Software Partner with certified integration, Esker provides hundreds of enterprises worldwide with advanced capabilities for automating business processes by delivering documents directly to and from SAP solutions. This track record of success has helped Esker DeliveryWare become a widely recognized document delivery solution among users of SAP solutions. By leveraging Esker DeliveryWare to achieve sales order and accounts payable process automation for SAP solutions, sales orders and invoice payments coming in via fax or email are recognized regardless of layout, and data is intelligently extracted and made available within the SAP solution for further processing and retrieval. As a result of the automation, there is no need for manual keying, which reduces the number of errors. Additionally, there is no need for multiple internal copies of documents; users print out fewer documents and thus use less paper. As a result, manual document processing is eliminated and order-to-cash and procurement cycles are accelerated.

In addition to Esker DeliveryWare, the company will also showcase Mail and Fax Services for SAP applications, the newest additions to its family of Esker on Demand document automation services. These SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions offer users the ability to send postal mail and faxes from their SAP application without any software investment.

Customers submit documents from any SAP module to the Esker on Demand facility, which are then faxed or processed for delivery via the postal service on the same day. These services integrate seamlessly with SAP and require no minimum output volume.

Executive quote
