Internet Group Vastly Improves VoIP to PSTN / Cellular Calls for Clients with GIPS QoS Border Network Control

iG has integrated GIPS Border Interface Engine solution (BIE) enabling iG consumers to communicate clearly from their PCs, removing the technical and QoS difficulties inherent with a hand-off to the PSTN and cellular networks.

BIE is an advanced server-based transcoding and de-jittering solution that can be used in a mediation device, gateway or monitoring application. By utilizing BIE, iG is improving call quality by providing robust and delay saving algorithms closer to the border of their ISP network.
