IPEVO Unveils Content Savvy Kaleido R7 Digital Photo Frame
Includes EyeStage software to import photos from PCs, Macs and iPhones
IPEVO, Inc. at CES today announced its Kaleido R7 digital photo frame with EyeStage content management software to compliment the changing ways consumers enjoy Internet media.
As the first digital photo frame to incorporate computer-centric behavior into a software and hardware design, the Kaleido R7 provides users with easy access to their favorite content via Wi-Fi enabled sync and streaming. In addition to using a Mac or PC computer, consumers can also use their iPhone or Windows Mobile®-compliant smartphone to display images stored on the phone or accessed by searching the Web.
The channel-based concept of EyeStage’s content subscription makes it easy to access and update large volumes of photos and image-rich media. Users can subscribe to content from photo-sharing Web sites like Flickr and Picasa, as well as news or blogs via RSS feeds. This is in addition to the traditional method of accessing content stored on computer hard disk or memory storage devices.
In addition to offering syncing compatibility with multiple sources, the Kaleido R7 features several technological advancements to ensure outstanding performance and brilliant, consistent color. The 7-inch raised LCD screen is backlit and features a special hinge to allow the screen to rotate or tilt for optimal quality in landscape or portrait view. The front-facing touchpad control base and included remote control also combine with the user interface for easy information and menu navigation. iPhone owners will be able to use their phone as the remote control to the frame as well if they prefer.

The IPEVO Kaleido R7 is expected to be available for purchase in March for an MSRP of $199, exclusively at www.ipevo.com. The EyeStage software will also be available as a free download at this time.
