Tata Teleservices Set to Launch JuiceCaster in India

BREW operator first to offer award-winning social-networking service in world’s third largest mobile market

Tata Teleservices (TTSL) today announced its plan to be the first to launch JuiceCaster 6.0, the award-winning mobile social-networking service, in India. JuiceCaster 6.0 will be available to all Tata Teleservices subscribers as a downloadable application for BREW and Windows Mobile handsets.

JuiceCaster integrates user-created videos, meeting new people and staying in touch with friends and family into one easy-to-use application. JuiceCaster allows anyone with a camera-enabled mobile phone to post videos and pictures to Orkut, MySpace, Facebook and other popular websites. Users can also share unlimited mobile media with friends, family, colleagues and custom groups.

JuiceCaster 6.0 has brand-new features including:
• Groups Feature – lets users share media in one click with phone contacts, JuiceCaster friends, email addresses and contacts imported from Google, Yahoo, MSN and MS Outlook.
• Real-time Status Updates – enables individuals to capture and instantly post their current status – what they are doing right now, as real-time videos and pictures. Status alerts go to friends’ cell phones and instantly to popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
