Memeo Expands into Japan through Buffalo Partnership

Global storage company selects Memeo to begin offering automatic data backup for the Japanese market

Memeo Inc., a leading worldwide provider of digital media management services for consumers and small businesses, today announced it has entered a distribution agreement with Buffalo Inc., Japan, a leading worldwide provider of consumer storage and NAS (Network Attached Storage) products. This alliance brings Memeo’s offerings to one of the largest consumer electronics markets in the world, and expands the company’s current relationship with Buffalo to more than 30 countries in 10 languages.

Initially, Buffalo will ship its 320GB, 500GB and 1TB USB 2.0 / eSATA / FireWire800 / 400 HDDs for the Mac (HD-M320/500 / 1.0TIBSU2) with Memeo LifeAgent™. Now, Mac consumers in Japan can ensure their pictures, documents, music, photos and other files are automatically backed up to their Buffalo external hard drive, storing data safely without having to spend time manually saving their digital media to multiple locations.
