In this role, Powell will oversee all of Micro Focus’ US and Canadian operations as the company continues to grow its North American business. He brings more than 20 years of management experience in the technology industry with a strong track record of success developing all aspects of global businesses.

Most recently, Ken Powell served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Accounts and US Banking at SAP. At SAP, he was responsible for all software and services revenue, bringing in more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Prior to his work at SAP, Powell served as CEO & President of two venture-backed software companies, Marketworks and River Logic.

During Powell’s career he has held senior executive positions for industry stalwarts including Apple, Broadvision, McAfee and Oracle, consistently demonstrating the ability to grow a business and accelerate its reach into new and existing markets.
