Photobucket CEO and Co-founder, Alex Welch, Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007 Award Finalist in the Rocky Mountain Region

Denver, CO - June 19, 2007

Photobucket, the world’s largest personal media site, today announced that CEO and co-founder, Alex Welch, is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007 Award in the Rocky Mountain Region. According to Ernst & Young, the awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Alex Welch was selected as a finalist from over 65 nominations by a panel of independent judges.

Founded in 2003, Photobucket is the Web's most popular creative hub, with more than 44 million users linking billions of personal photos, graphics, slideshows and videos daily to hundreds of thousands of web sites. On May 30, 2007, Fox Interactive Media (FIM) announced an agreement to acquire Photobucket. Once this acquisition is complete, Photobucket will remain a standalone company within FIM, while its technology will be used to enhance sites across the Fox Interactive network, as well as on the more than 300,000 other Web sites linked to by Photobucket’s users.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 21, 2007 at the Seawell Ballroom in The Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 17, 2007. The national Entrepreneur Of The Year celebration is part of Ernst & Young’s Strategic Growth Forum. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
