Pringo Launches v3.0 at Web 2.0 Expo
New Online Community Platform Provides Increased Flexibility and Enterprise Social Networking Capabilities
Pringo, a leader in empowering online communities, today launched the beta version of Pringo 3.0, the first non-hosted social networking platform to provide enterprises the flexibility to integrate with preferred applications or data.
With Pringo v3.0, organizations can integrate any software, such as a blog, bulletin board or shopping cart, into the Pringo platform using its new extension architecture. For example, if an organization prefers to use vBulletin® instead of Pringo's proprietary Bulletin Board, it can swap one out for the other and integrate directly into the Pringo platform. Synchronization is simple and the process works seamlessly.
An additional element of Pringo v3.0 is its intranet solution, which enhances collaboration amongst co-workers in local and distributed environments and enables organizations to use technology to improve personnel productivity. Utilizing this solution, organizations can create subject- and geographically-based groups to seamlessly work on a project. In addition, Pringo's intranet solution provides improved training capabilities and also allows companies to more easily communicate focused messaging to their employees.
Additional features of Pringo v3.0 include:
-- Integration with Google Apps, providing immediate intranet
capabilities for organizations which utilize Google Apps combined with the
power of Pringo's Web 2.0 platform
-- Increased security, including digital signatures, encryption and
privacy settings
-- Integration with Docstoc, a document management platform that enables
flash presentation of all file types
-- Integration with QuoteMedia, which will provide real-time trading
information to Pringo's customers
Pringo will demonstrate its new platform at the Web 2.0 Expo in booth #1919, September 17-18, 2008 at the Javits Center in New York. To schedule a meeting at Web 2.0, please email pringo@lewispr.com.
