Proofpoint Signs Distribution Agreement with COMPUTERLINKS to Deliver Email Security and Compliance Solutions to Resellers Worldwide
Partnership Bolsters Proofpoint’s European Market Reach
Proofpoint, Inc., the leading provider of SaaS email security, email archiving and data loss prevention solutions, today announced that it has signed a global distribution agreement with COMPUTERLINKS, a leading value-added distributor of IT security, IT infrastructure, and Internet technology solutions. COMPUTERLINKS will sell Proofpoint’s entire line of email security and compliance solutions to its reseller partners in Europe and other regions worldwide including the United States.
COMPUTERLINKS will make Proofpoint’s entire line of solutions, including the Proofpoint on Demand™ suite of SaaS offerings, comprised of:
- Proofpoint ENTERPRISE™: True, enterprise-class SaaS email security and data loss prevention. Completely isolated instances assure each customer of maximum control, configurability and data security.

- Proofpoint SHIELD™: Cloud-based connection management and front-line spam protection for any email security appliance eliminates the risks associated with unpredictable email traffic spikes, rising spam volumes and targeted attacks.
- Proofpoint ARCHIVE™: SaaS email archiving for email storage management, legal discovery and regulatory compliance. Patented DoubleBlind Encryption™ ensures data security in transit and in the cloud.
Proofpoint technology partner Blue Coat Systems is a leading provider of Secure Web Gateway solutions and has a global distribution partnership with COMPUTERLINKS. The combination of the Proofpoint and Blue Coat solutions allows enterprises to defend against “blended threats” that combine email- and web-based malware attacks. To extend these benefits to enterprises around the world, COMPUTERLINKS will make a bundled solution available to global resellers.
