New Version of Mobile Enterprise GPS Service TeleNav Track™ Helps Companies Control Labor Costs

TeleNav also unveils TeleNav Enterprise Server™ (TES) to allow easy integration with back-office applications

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - September 23, 2008

Companies can now better control labor costs with the latest version of TeleNav Track, a GPS-enabled mobile resource management (MRM) service that provides real-time information for managing field operations and remote communications. New capabilities - such as Team Timecard, overtime controls, signature and image capture, and Hot Key Alert - help managers improve worker time and attendance compliance, limit unnecessary overtime costs, boost employee satisfaction, and increase overall efficiency.

With Team Timecard, landscapers, roofers, movers and other crew-based contractors can electronically manage the work and break time of their teams, clocking individuals or entire teams in and out directly from a supervisor’s BlackBerry® smartphone or other mobile device. The service incorporates timecard controls that limit clocking in and out to time periods near assigned shift times in order to better manage time card data and use of overtime. This also helps to better control job costs associated with each project. Employees can also record timecard punches using voice commands with the Voice Timecards feature. In addition to accurately keeping time and attendance records, Team Timecard features a geofence functionality, automatically updating employees’ timecards when they pass through preset boundaries.

The new Hot Key Alert feature boosts employee satisfaction by empowering them to quickly and discreetly send location notification via email and SMS by entering a predefined keystroke combination on their wireless device. This quickly informs management of circumstances that need immediate attention and resends the message every five minutes until a response is provided.

Additional enhancements to TeleNav Track include:

* Signature capture: In order to provide a convenient and cost-effective proof of acceptance for goods and services delivered, TeleNav Track now enables mobile employees using select devices to capture a customer’s signature through a touch-sensitive mobile phone or USB-connected external touchpad.

* Image capture: With select camera-equipped mobile phones, users can take photos while on the job and use TeleNav Track to send them to managers. These images are immediately attached to job information stored on file.

* Subscription Reports: Administrators of TeleNav Track can subscribe to daily, weekly, or monthly deliveries of status and performance reports, greatly easing the burden of management reporting.

In conjunction with the latest version of TeleNav Track, TeleNav also introduced TeleNav Enterprise Server (TES), which enables customers an easy and flexible method for integrating TeleNav Track with third-party applications such as customer relationship management (CRM), payroll, accounting and dispatch systems. TES automates the flow of data between TeleNav Track and these third-party applications and eliminates the need for duplicate data entry. Especially ideal for large enterprises and government organizations, but also easy to deploy and manage for small and medium size businesses (SMBs), TES shortens integration time significantly.

More than 9,000 organizations, including SMBs, large enterprises and government entities, are leveraging TeleNav Track to reduce costs, increase operations efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction. Because of benefits like these, industry analyst firm ABI Research predicts enterprise GPS applications like TeleNav Track will generate more revenue than mobile consumer GPS services as companies increasingly deploy enterprise solutions over the next five years (1). TeleNav Track is currently one of the most widely-used MRM services and is available through several U.S. wireless carriers.

Frost & Sullivan recently recognized TeleNav Track with its 2008 North American Mobility Award for Best MRM Solution on a Handheld Device. The service enables organizations to monitor and oversee their mobile workers and assets through GPS tracking, information reporting and timesheet management. It also helps increase overall performance and efficiency through additional capabilities, including GPS navigation and customizable wireless forms, dispatching and barcode scanning.
