LAS VEGAS – 2009 International CES - January 08, 2009

sonoro audio, German designer and engineer of distinctive, high-quality audio products, today announced the availability of eDock, a sleek iPod charging dock attachment for its elements AM / FM radio. The company also announced the availability of its entire elements product range in white. Also, for music fans who want extra flare on their compact audio solutions, sonoro is introducing a new ‘elements tatou’ radio, which includes sonoro’s signature vine motif imprinted on the front panel of its classic elements AM / FM radio. elements tatou is available in black and white.

The entire sonoro elements product family consists of the elements AM / FM radio and its new design, elements tatou, as well as elements W, an Internet / FM radio. The suite also includes eklipse, an all-in-one compact audio system that includes AM / FM radio, CD player and integrated iPod dock. The eDock was originally launched to work exclusively with the element W Internet radio. sonoro has also upgraded the elements AM / FM classic version to operate the eDock as well.

Additionally, all sonoro products can be used to output robust sound from computers, mobile phones, iPods, or other MP3 players through an auxiliary 3.5mm connection, included with every sonoro product.

The elements collection is recognized for its sleek, minimalist design, distinguished with a handcrafted curved-corner, all-wood encasing and piano high-gloss lacquered finish. The products house sonoro’s 360o Sound Technology to provide robust sound with modern style. This technology combines a bass reflex tube and full-range, upward-facing speaker that blends right and left channel audio for optimal acoustics. Each radio is marked with a distinctive LED-illuminated metal ring to easily control tuning and volume.

The elements W Internet radio was recently chosen as a 2009 CES Innovations honoree, joining the ranks with the original elements AM / FM radio, recognized as an internationally-renowned reddot design award winner, and winner of the Plus X award for design.
